CHEER QUAKE
Cheer Quake has a very strong emphasis on family and education. Currently the organization's overall GPA among its members is 3.97! Members are required to submit report cards and grade reports with encouragement towards scholarships. Several graduating members have been accepted into the nations top colleges and universities. In addition, in 2006 graduating Cheer Quake members have earned positions with some of the most competitive college cheer teams, such as Morgan State University, with some of the highest GPA on record and the most well rounded skills ever presented according to college coaches. In addition, Cheer Quake members have been solicited from many colleges and universities regarding recruitment of dance team members.
Cheer Quake has been blessed with some of the best trained and certified coaches and talent in the industry. Cheer Quake has also been successful with providing a service at an affordable price and various means of financing, such as the sponsorship program and the CQBC, Inc. Open to everyone, regardless of race, background or skill level, there is a home for anyone who wishes to pursue a dream of being on an all star cheer or dance team. Our mission - to make every child believe they can achieve any dream they have with unconditional love, support, honesty and integrity. That's the concept of family...that is Cheer Quake All Stars.
Cheer Quake All Stars was born from the remnants of a former recreation team, turned all star team. As the cheerleading director, Dee Artis believed that she could accomplish much more than the board of the former team wanted. With the leadership of Dee Artis the former team was the first independent all star cheer team to be invited to Nassau, Bahamas to conduct a two day camp, perform an all star cheer routine and judge a local competition.
At the end the third winning season, Ms Artis decided to resign from her position as Director of Cheerleading of the former team. One month later, in the year 2000, Cheer Quake All Stars was founded. Each and every member of the former team joined Ms. Artis to create what is now a growing force in the all star cheer and hip hop dance field.
Cheer Quake All Stars has grown from one cheer team to various cheer teams of different levels. During the first year, five members created the all star hip hop dance team - Tremor Force. Since then, Cheer Quake is well recognized for its strong hip hop "flava" in both cheer and dance. From that success, Cheer Quake grew to have four national championship hip hop dance teams and several national championship all star cheer teams. The dedication of the members who started Cheer Quake has led the organization to numerous grand national championships and cash awards. In addition, Cheer Quake teams have been invited to perform at various events as far away as South Africa!
